EVIT charger showcased at the National Launch of India's Electric Mobility Programme
On 7 March 2018, the Ministry of Power and EESL launched India's Electric Mobility Programme in New Delhi — with an EVIT charger on display.

On 7 March 2018, the Ministry of Power and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) held the National Launch of the Electric Mobility Programme in New Delhi. The programme was launched by Shri R. K. Singh, then Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New & Renewable Energy.
An EVIT charger was one of the units on display — the grey EVI Technologies unit on the right of the photo below.

From launch to the field
The same year, EVIT released its second-generation charger for electric three-wheelers and built a battery swapping station for Murata, Japan.
