EVI Technologies Private Limited (EVIT) is an IIT Delhi alumni company based in New Delhi, associated with Electropreneur Park and FITT, IIT Delhi — designing, manufacturing and deploying indigenous EV charging infrastructure across India.
Our Story
From an IIT Delhi prototype to India's charging backbone.
EVI Technologies Private Limited (EVIT), based in New Delhi, offers Electric Vehicle system solutions. The company was founded by a team of IIT Delhi alumni and incubated at Electropreneur Park — funded and supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
EVIT has been working on EV Charging Stations for over seven years. We have developed EV Fast Charging Stations and Battery Swapping Stations, and deployed 3,500+ chargers under the “EVI Technologies” brand and on white-label across 20+ Indian states.
EVIT holds comprehensive capability across all facets of EV charging stations — site selection, design, manufacturing, installation, operation, maintenance and upgradation. Our chargers meet the highest standards for reliability and safety, with continuous quality controls during manufacturing and strict operational checks aligned with IEC / Bharat standards.

Founding team are IIT Delhi alumni. Corporate office at #3C-1A, Research & Innovation Park, IIT Delhi. The first DC Fast Charger Proof-of-Concept for electric three-wheelers was developed at IIT Delhi.
Electropreneur Park
EVIT was incubated as a start-up at Electropreneur Park, University of Delhi — funded and supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Software development for our chargers began here in 2017.

EVIT is associated with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi — anchoring our continued technology development and academic-industry collaboration.

Foundations & First Prototype
Stepped into the international market; developed Solar Organic Cells at KIT, Germany. Technology partnership with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) for Solar Micro Grid and Biomass Energy. Built EV DC Fast Charger Proof-of-Concept for electric three-wheelers at IIT Delhi.
Incubation at Electropreneur Park
Started software development for EV chargers at Electropreneur Park, University of Delhi. Field trials and pilot deployment of EV chargers across four states.
Second-Gen Hardware
Released the 2nd version of EV charger for the electric three-wheeler segment. Consultancy on e-mobility (last-mile connectivity) for multiple smart cities. Expansion of the e-mobility platform.
National Rollout Begins
150+ charging points across ~10 states. Tie-up with Napino Auto & Electronics as manufacturing partner and Murata, Japan for battery technology. Tie-up with BSNL for 5,000 PAN India locations and MoU with CSC for 25,000 PAN India locations.
Battery Swapping & High Power
Battery swapping solution introduced with Micromax and Napino as R&D team. AC (CCS) Type 2 and home-charger development. Indigenous OCPP-based Charger Management Central System launched. 1.2 kW on-board chargers for electric 2W and 3W. Signed with ST Microelectronics for joint high-power system development.
3,500+ Chargers · 20+ States
Over 3,500 EV chargers deployed under the "EVI Technologies" brand and on white-label in more than 20 states across India, covering e-2W, e-3W and e-4W from AC 3 kW to 44 kW and DC 15 kW to 120 kW.
In-house R&D
Designed, prototyped and certified in India.
EVIT's R&D team continuously improves the combination of individual components to deliver high-yield, optimally coordinated EV systems. Manufacturing is anchored by a tier-1 partnership with Napino Auto & Electronics — one of India's largest automotive electronics component manufacturers.
Our active research programs span AC and DC chargers (3 kW to 120 kW), on-board chargers for 2W/3W, battery swapping with Micromax and Napino, battery technology with Murata (Japan), high-power systems with ST Microelectronics, and OCPP-based central management software.
